Cynthia's Story...
At 40 years old I was blessed with a miracle baby, a huge surprise!!!! My last pregnancy was 20 years prior. My first birth was a wonderful experience, at home with a midwife. At 40 years old I was not completely comfortable having a home birth again, however wanted a natural birth. I was very apprehensive about hospital policies and procedures. I had a very strong mind set to have a completely natural birth; I did not want the hospital's interference in any way. I felt that what the hospital may consider “Policy and Procedure” I considered invasive. I felt that my husband and I needed support to achieve a natural experience at a hospital.

A Commentary from James...
As a first time father, I found Kimberly's services to be very beneficial. Her childbirth classes were an excellent way to prepare us for the birth of our daughter and to get to know Kimberly before labor. As a Doula, Kimberly made our birthing experience much more enjoyable and less stressful than we could ever have imagined. I cannot put a price on our experience other than to say it was like having a “close” friend with us who knew the process and knew how to get us through the “unknown and unexpected” circumstances of our daughters birth. I am so happy we had Kimberly there to help. I would not have wanted to do it alone and she can expect a call from us the next time as well.

Julie's Story...
We have twin boys and I had a very difficult delivery. When our boys came home from the intensive care unit, I was thrown by how overwhelmed I was. Kimberly got CPR certified for us at last minute and came in and gave us some well needed rest. In the morning we also had some great muffins and could actually have a clear thought. Thank you for driving so far out of your way to help meet our needs. Our boys are 9 months old now and everyday I thank God for our two miracles. I feel as if I won the lottery everyday!

A note from Dina...
The postpartum Doula services provided by Kimberly have been most invaluable to me. The many duties she performed enabled me to not only feel rested but refreshed as well. I looked forward to the times when she would come into my home knowing that when she left my load would be lightened and my fatigue lessened. Her professionalism was always balanced with the utmost care and friendliness; her presence was a comfort to me and my family during time of adjusting to a new little one in our home. I would highly recommend her services to other women whether it is their first child or their fifth.
